This matched pair of Rampant Horses captures motion in stillness. Hand-carved and hand-painted by artisans in Uruguay, each sculpture showcases absolute mastery in ceramic art. Limited to just 100 pieces per model, these rearing stallions stand as expressions of spirit, force, and balance.

1. Grey Rampant Horse (2025, Limited Edition of 100)

Dimensions: 37×17×39 cm (14 1/2”×6 5/8”×15 3/8”)

This majestic figure stands tall, rearing back on its haunches, front legs raised in defiance or pride. Its coat is a deep, earthy gray, textured like wind-carved stone. The mane and tail swirl in fine ridged lines, touched with warm bronze and soft black highlights. Each feathered plate of the saddle blanket is individually sculpted, glazed in terracotta tones with golden accents.

The pattern beneath the saddle, repeating tufted designs suggests upholstery or armor padding, bringing a richness to the horse's side. Gold-lined leaves fan out at the horse's shoulders and hips, layered in rows that speak of classical equine barding. Its gaze is forward, ears alert. It certainly commands.

This horse feels like it belongs in a courtyard of an ancient palace. Regal, not ornamental.

2. White Rampant Horse (2025, Limited Edition of 100)

This twin sculpture holds the same bold pose, but with a brighter palette. Its body is cream-toned, almost ivory, brushed with warm undertones that bring life to the ceramic. The mane and tail are streaked with gray and platinum, contrasting with its lighter coat.

The saddle blanket carries cool green and deep blue with gold embellishments. Like its counterpart, this horse also wears rows of sculpted leaves, each painted in olive, gold, and deep jade. The ornamental blanket bears the same tufted texture but in darker green, recalling ancient fabrics used in royal garments or war banners.

Though matched in stance, this figure has a more serene presence: less storm, more light. It pairs with the gray horse in harmony, like day beside night.
