Lords of the Wild | The Tiger Figurine Set
This four-piece tiger bundle captures the animal’s full journey, from cub to full-grown apex predator. Hand-carved and painted in Uruguay, each piece is finished with fine enamel, 24k gold, and platinum, then boxed with care and authenticity. Every figurine in this set brings a different shade of the tiger’s power: gentleness, stealth, strength, and command.
These are deliberate sculptures. They’re made to sit with quiet confidence, just like the tiger itself.
1. Tiger Figurine
Dimensions: 09×07×12 cm (3 1/2″×2 3/4″×4 3/4″) | Issue Year: 2021
This figure shows the tiger in a moment of pause. Its gaze is direct, its face calm, but there’s an edge in the posture: alert, like it knows more than it lets on. Rich orange and deep black enamel swirls trace through the fur, interrupted by fine gold lines and soft ivory across the chest and face.
This tiger feels like it's watching. It holds a moment of restraint. There's power in its stillness, and detail in every groove, from the muscle under the skin to the slope of the jaw.
2. Tiger Cub Figurine
Dimensions: 10×07×06 cm (3 7/8″×2 3/4″×2 3/8″) | Issue Year: 2024
The cub has a playful look, but not overly sweet. Its face carries early confidence; less sharp, more round, but already learning. There's a slight tilt to the head, giving it character. The fur is textured in warm ochres and tawny browns, lined with gold and smooth black enamel stripes.
This piece brings out the softer side of the tiger myth. It reminds us that strength is not just presence, but growth, and that even the fiercest creatures start small, curious, and wide-eyed.
3. Bengala Tiger Figurine
Dimensions: 14×06×10 cm (5 1/2″×2 3/8″×3 7/8″) | Issue Year: 2009
Here, the stripes are bolder, more graphic, flowing like fire across the tiger’s back. This one leans forward, its body slightly curved, head raised, front paw subtly in motion. There’s grace in the lines and weight in the posture.
The Bengala tiger looks older, perhaps wiser. It suggests movement without speed - an animal that doesn’t need to hurry to be in control. It's the type of figure that draws eyes not because it's big, but because it carries a certain quiet presence.
4. Tiger Sitting Figurine
Dimensions: 14×12×16 cm (5 1/2″×4 3/4″×6 1/4″) | Issue Year: 2021
This is the dominant piece of the set. Taller, broader, more solid. The tiger sits upright, front paws planted, shoulders square. The expression is composed: neither friendly nor fierce, just focused. The black and gold accents give structure to the body, while red-orange enamel adds warmth.
This sculpture feels like leadership. Not loud, but firm. A presence you don’t question. Of all the pieces, this one most fully captures the tiger as symbol: independent, master of its ground, quietly sure of itself.
This bundle walks the tiger’s arc: from cub to king. It shows the animal in motion, in pause, and in rest. Each figure brings a new mood: curiosity, control, alertness, authority.
Across cultures, the tiger has stood for courage, dignity, and protection. In Chinese thought, it rules the west and guards the soul. In Indian lore, it’s the mount of Durga, carrying divine power. In nature, it’s both predator and protector.
De Rosa’s take is neither cartoon nor imitation. These sculptures offer tribute, not fantasy. They let the tiger remain itself - raw, poised, unbothered. Placed together, they decorate a space and mark it...
