The 2016/ Kueng Caputo Vase M and L series, crafted in Saga Prefecture, Japan, showcases contemporary porcelain artistry through the traditional Imari-Arita ware technique. Each vase is formed with thin, precise walls and a clean, rectangular silhouette with rounded edges, designed to emphasize simplicity and proportion. The surface features a soft yet striking gradient created using an airbrush, where pigment is applied in a controlled spray to achieve a seamless fade from deep tone to light.

Available in three color variations: dark red to red, blue to light blue, and black to white.

Additionally, there is a larger size variation.

Each piece presents a distinct visual character. The gradation is carefully calculated to shift in brightness depending on the viewing angle, creating a play between light and shadow. This approach reflects the Japanese concept of shitsurai, or mindful arrangement, where the placement of an object changes how its beauty is experienced.

The matte surface offers a subdued, tactile quality that pairs well with modern interiors. This finish also enhances the visual depth of the gradient, giving the colors a natural and almost atmospheric transition.
