Well, this bowl flips that on its head. The Hesaka Midnight Tenmoku Chawan, 13.1 cm across, 8.6 cm high, shaped in Hesaka clay, pulls your gaze into its glossy black depths and makes every last sip feel intentional.

If you look up close, you’ll see specs of amber that glint like kiln embers caught in the glaze. The surface is subtly uneven - tiny dimples and furrows that speak to the way clay settled in the fire.
