Earth & Myth | Clydesdale & Unicorn Figurine Set
This bundle brings together two pairs: one grounded in reality, the other rooted in legend. A Clydesdale and its foal stand with solid strength, while a blue unicorn and its young mirror them in mythic elegance. Carved and painted by hand in Uruguay, each figure is detailed with enamel glaze, platinum lining, and delicate gold work. This is a bundle that balances the known with the imagined.
1. Blue Unicorn Figurine
Dimensions: 11×06×14 cm (4 3/8″×2 3/8″×5 1/2″) | Issue Year: 2018
This unicorn is poised in a half-rear, its head lowered gently, horn tilted forward. The pale ivory of its body is softened by flowing textured mane details in cream and gold. But the eye is drawn to the saddle: a vivid cloak of swirling cerulean blue enamel. The curves evoke wind, waves, and old celestial maps.
In folklore, the unicorn is purity in motion - untouched, untamed, a creature only found by those who believe. This sculpture carries that same quiet mystery. It doesn’t shout for attention. It simply exists, elegant and still, as if it had just stepped from a forgotten forest.
2. Baby Blue Unicorn Figurine
Dimensions: 07×04×09 cm (2 3/4″×1 5/8″×3 1/2″) | Issue Year: 2018
The younger counterpart shares the same creamy coat, with soft curls along the mane and golden hooves. Its saddle imitates the same ornate blue pattern, but in a simpler, tighter layout. This piece stands low and open, innocent in stance, and slightly turned, curious, not cautious.
This isn’t just a smaller version of the first. It has its own energy: the kind that lives in fairy tales before the danger starts. A reminder that belief begins in the small, the still, and the unspoken.
3. Clydesdale Figurine
Dimensions: 10×06×12 cm (3 7/8″×2 3/8″×4 3/4″) | Issue Year: 2016
This Clydesdale is earthy and muscular, carved with firm lines and finished in warm chestnut and ivory tones. The high black saddle is clean and glossy, bordered by sharp gold trim. White feathered legs and gold-tipped hooves ground the figure, lending it the full stature of a working horse.
A symbol of resilience and endurance, the Clydesdale stands as a cultural icon of power with gentleness. It doesn’t move quickly, but it carries weight, both physically and symbolically. This sculpture feels rooted. It honors labor and history, not fantasy.
4. Baby Clydesdale Figurine
Dimensions: 07×04×09 cm (2 3/4″×1 5/8″×3 1/2″) | Issue Year: 2016
This foal mirrors the adult with its dense chestnut texture and fine detailing. It’s less built, with softer curves and wider eyes. Its ears point slightly forward, not yet weathered. Its size and stance express a readiness to follow rather than lead, capturing the learning stage of a strong breed.
Together with its parent, the pair brings a quiet balance to the set. There’s no need for fantasy here, just the beauty of form, heritage, and companionship.
This bundle is a meditation on duality: real and imagined, strength and softness, work and wonder. The unicorns speak to what we long for: freedom, purity, and magic. The Clydesdales remind us of what we build on: trust, muscle, effort, and steadiness.
Placed side by side, these four are not in conflict. They’re in conversation. They show how imagination is shaped by experience, and how myth gains meaning when it stands near truth. It’s a pairing that is poetic.
This is a set of values, carved in clay.
